Description
Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT in Bryson City, NC. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active North Carolina Occupational Therapy license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility setting is required.
- Experience with ADL (activities of daily living) training and mobility/transfer training.
- Documentation experience using electronic medical records.
- Client requires clinicians who can manage caseloads that include patients with complex medical needs and dementia.
- Preferred: Experience with splinting, orthotic recommendations, and cognitive retraining techniques.
