Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Colorado Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Outpatient physical therapy experience required. Candidates must be comfortable providing 60-minute initial evaluations and 30-minute follow-up treatment sessions.
- Experience with documentation for outpatient clinics including evaluation notes, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry using electronic health record systems.
- Ability to evaluate assigned patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and supervise or delegate discipline-specific therapy services as needed.
- Demonstrated competency with safe patient handling and materials handling procedures in a clinic environment.
- Maintains professional licensure in good standing and adheres to state Practice Act and discipline-specific professional codes of conduct.
- Preferred: experience supervising students or participating in student training programs.
