Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral) approved by the APTA.
• Current Physical Therapy license in the State of California required prior to the start of assignment.
• BLS certification required.
• Demonstrated clinical competency in evaluation, plan of care development, implementation of skilled interventions, and documentation consistent with hospital standards.
• Experience working in an acute care hospital environment preferred.
• Ability to perform direct patient care tasks including transfers and mobility assistance; may be required to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and common office equipment required.
• Must be able to demonstrate supervision and delegation experience for PTAs, therapy technicians, or students; experience in training or orientation preferred.
