Minimum Requirements

• Doctoral, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an ACOTE- or APTA-recognized program.
• Active Texas Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required prior to start.
• Outpatient experience required. Experience in outpatient orthopedics or musculoskeletal care preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy evaluations and manage a variable patient census, including days with 11 to 16 patient visits depending on evaluation complexity.
• Experience supervising and supporting PTAs required. Not recommended for new graduates due to heavy evaluation load.
• Reliable documentation skills in outpatient EMR systems. Previous experience with common outpatient documentation software preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Outpatient clinic.
• Shift pattern: Variable daily volumes; some clinic days may require 11 patient visits and other days may require 14–16 patient visits depending on evaluation length.
• Clinical expectation: Support two PTAs during the shift.
