Minimum Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Active state SLP license required to start the assignment in Florida.
• BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Acute care experience required, including hospital caseload management and ability to ramp quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience conducting Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) is required.
• Ability to complete approximately 8 patient visits per day in an acute care setting.
• Not recommended for new graduates; must demonstrate independent clinical decision-making and prior acute care proficiency.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital (acute care).
• Typical schedule: Monday through Friday with occasional weekend day as needed; flex off during the week.
• Caseload: Approximately 8 visits per day; hospital caseload.
• Assignment environment: Brand new hospital facility; must be able to ramp quickly.
