What We're Looking For

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders.
• Current state licensure in good standing in California or eligibility to obtain California licensure.
• Experience working in school-based settings, including conducting assessments and developing IEPs.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills for interdisciplinary team participation.

Minimum Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders.
• Valid state SLP license or clear documentation of eligibility to obtain California licensure prior to start.
• Previous experience in school-based SLP roles, including assessment, IEP development, and progress monitoring.
• Ability to manage documentation that meets district, state, and federal requirements.
• Comfortable providing services to pediatric populations with diverse language and learning needs.
• Clearances and background checks as required by the school district prior to assignment start.
• Preferred: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).

What You’ll Do

• Provide speech and language therapy in a school-based setting across individual and group sessions.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, write assessment reports, and develop measurable goals within IEPs.
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, paraprofessionals, parents, and school teams to support student progress.
• Maintain compliant documentation, schedules, and progress reports in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
• Adapt therapy to meet diverse communication needs, including language, articulation, fluency, and social communication.
