Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Washington state PT license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility required.
- Demonstrated experience with patient evaluation, plan of care development, and skilled therapeutic interventions for geriatric populations.
- Ability to document thoroughly in electronic medical records and communicate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Preferred: experience with transfer training, skilled nursing documentation standards, and restorative nursing programs.
