Description

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while working in a skilled nursing facility in Washington, DC.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active DC Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience working in skilled nursing facilities preferred.
  • Experience with common SNF documentation systems and restorative therapy programs preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Shift Details: Days 08:30–16:30, Monday through Friday.
  • Meal break: 30 minutes.
  • Contract length: 13 weeks.

Public transit is widely available via the Metrorail and Metrobus systems, with multiple lines and stations connecting to suburban Maryland and Virginia in 20–45 minute commutes. The city supports an urban lifestyle with diverse dining districts such as Penn Quarter and Adams Morgan and frequent cultural events year-round.
