Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active New York State Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
- Experience performing evaluations and providing skilled PT services to post-acute and long-term care residents preferred.
- Ability to participate in interdisciplinary morning meetings and assist with team-based care and additional clinical tasks as requested by the facility.
- Comfort with documentation in electronic medical records preferred.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Shift Details: Days 08:30–16:30.
- Work Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts.
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks.
- Clinician responsibilities include evaluations, treatment, and participation in morning meetings; candidate should be comfortable assisting with additional departmental tasks.
