Description
Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Las Vegas, NV. Provide patient-centered care to help individuals with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily living and work-related skills. This role is within a skilled nursing facility and supports interdisciplinary collaboration to optimize patient outcomes and transitions of care.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Nevada OT license required to start the assignment.
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
- Experience with ADL retraining, splinting, adaptive equipment recommendations, and documentation in an electronic medical record preferred.
- Ability to conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide restorative nursing programs.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families.
