Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Virginia Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
• Experience providing restorative and skilled therapy services, including transfers, gait training, and therapeutic exercise, preferred.
• Ability to provide documentation in electronic medical records and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Client requires availability for a 32-hour per week schedule, working 4 days per week (4x8) as part of the assignment guarantee.
• Preferred: prior travel therapy experience and competency treating post-operative orthopedic and medically complex patients.

• Work Schedule: 4 days per week, 8-hour shifts (4x8).
• Weekly Guarantee: 32 hours per week guarantee.
• Assignment Length: 13-week assignment.
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities within the client network as needed.
