Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Colorado physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Outpatient physical therapy experience preferred, including evaluations and 60-minute initial evaluations with 30-minute follow-up sessions.
- Ability to complete timely, accurate medical record documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry per clinic policies and payer requirements.
- Experience supervising or delegating to therapy assistants or students preferred.
- Demonstrated adherence to state practice acts, professional codes of conduct, and ongoing professional development.
- Client-specific requirement: must be able to work a 40 hour per week schedule as described by the client and support clinic safety programs and patient handling protocols.
