Description
Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while working in a hospital setting in Farmington, NM.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active New Mexico Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC preferred. (Client may require BLS; obtain prior to start if requested.)
- Experience working in an acute care or hospital environment preferred. Hospital experience with inpatient rehabilitation, medical/surgical, or trauma care is preferred.
- Ability to manage caseloads that include adults and pediatric patients in a level III trauma center environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated competency with standard OT evaluation tools, splinting, ADL training, and discharge planning preferred.
