Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Virginia Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) and assisted living facility (ALF) settings preferred. New graduates considered only if SNF/ALF experience was obtained during clinicals.
• Completion of VASP background screening is required prior to start. VASP cannot be pending at start (process may take about three weeks).

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility with adjacent independent living and assisted living components.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Assignment Length: May through July (coverage required through July 31; earlier start dates may be considered).
• Role Focus: Primary coverage for SNF and ALF residents, occasional non-resident outpatient as needed.
• Equipment and Support: Well-supported rehab department with ACP modality equipment, gait trainer system, weight machines, and aquatic pool.
