Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active South Carolina Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Outpatient physical therapy experience required, including evaluation and development of individualized treatment plans with 60-minute initial evaluations and 30-minute follow-ups preferred.
- Experience with documentation in electronic medical records, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with payer and clinic requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and delegate discipline-specific therapy services and participate in student clinical education.
- Adherence to state practice act, professional code of conduct, and completion of required continuing education.
- Preferred: Experience in a high-volume outpatient setting and familiarity with safe patient handling procedures.
