Minimum Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA.
• Active California SLP license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Must be able to perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) independently. (Client requirement)
• Experience in acute care settings preferred. (Client preference)
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 8 visits per day including evaluations and follow-up treatments. (Client expectation)
• Previous experience with hospital documentation systems preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday.
• Patient load: Approximately 8 visits per day, combination of evaluations and follow-up treatments.
• Must be able to perform MBSS independently.
• Open to a 26-week contract.
