Description
Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Newark, NJ. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while working in an outpatient setting.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active New Jersey Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience treating pre- and post-operative patients and traumatic injuries, including crush injuries, is required.
- Experience in high-volume outpatient settings, managing schedules of more than 14 visits per day and up to three patients per hour, is required.
- Experience treating work-related injuries and workers’ compensation cases is required.
- Ability to communicate with Spanish- or Portuguese-speaking patients is preferred.

- Clinical pace: High-volume caseload, typically greater than 14 visits per day; scheduling up to three patients per hour.
