Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Delaware Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC required or must obtain prior to start.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility or long-term care settings preferred. This includes experience with geriatric populations, functional mobility training, transfers, fall prevention, and ADL-focused therapy.
• Documentation experience with electronic medical records required. Specify experience with facility EMR systems preferred.
• Ability to manage caseload independently, including evaluation, plan of care development, and discharge planning.
• Valid professional liability insurance as required by facility policy or ability to obtain prior to start.
