Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Active Texas PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC preferred.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility or long-term care settings preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to provide interventions per plan of care and document treatments in medical records.
• Ability to work under PT delegation and supervision and instruct patients, families, and caregivers.
