Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Texas PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred.
• Experience with skilled nursing patient populations, including post-acute care, transfers, gait training, and ADL facilitation preferred.
• Ability to follow treatment plans established by a licensed Physical Therapist and document per facility policies.
• Client requires clinicians who can assist with mobility equipment such as walkers, canes, and transfer devices; experience with these devices preferred.
