Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant. You will work with patients recovering from injury or illness to improve mobility, reduce pain, and increase function under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. A recruiter will follow up with assignment details upon application.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited educational program.
• Active South Carolina PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC preferred. Required if specified by the client.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred, including restorative nursing programs and care of medically complex geriatric patients.
• Demonstrated competency with common PTA interventions and modalities used in post-acute and long-term care populations.
• Ability to follow treatment plans established by a licensed Physical Therapist and to document per facility and regulatory requirements.
• Client requires candidates comfortable working with transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and durable medical equipment commonly used in SNF settings.
