Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active South Carolina Physical Therapist Assistant license required to start the assignment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from American Heart Association (AHA).
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to implement treatment plans, document progress, and perform therapeutic interventions for musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiovascular, and developmental impairments.
• Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families.
• Willingness to participate in departmental functions such as competency training, in-service coordination, mentoring, and performance improvement activities.
• Preferred: prior experience working within a hospital-affiliated outpatient clinic or health system.

• Facility Type: Hospital outpatient clinic.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Details: Monday through Thursday 08:00–17:45; Friday 08:00–13:00.
• Assignment Length: 13 week assignment.
• Required credentials: Active SC license as PTA, BLS (AHA) required.

Join as a PTA traveler and maintain clinical growth while providing patient-centered care. You will document progress, complete treatment notes and discharge summaries within departmental guidelines, and collaborate with therapists and physicians regarding patient goals and progress. Contribute to professional development activities and maintain required continuing education for SC LLR.
