Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active New Jersey Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification required from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care or inpatient hospital physical therapy experience preferred. (Preferred)
• Experience with inpatient evaluation, development of discharge-focused treatment plans, and interdisciplinary collaboration preferred. (Preferred)
• Competence in documentation of daily notes, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, discharge planning, and charge entry in hospital EMR systems preferred. (Preferred)
• Ability to perform safe patient handling and materials handling per hospital policies.
• Willingness to participate in student supervision and departmental education as assigned.
