Description
Make a meaningful impact as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. This role involves advocating for patients and families to obtain resources, performing mental health evaluations, crisis counseling, treatment plan development, and coordinating with state and federal agencies and community services. The position requires strong documentation skills and competence with electronic health records. This assignment is based in Sitka, AK at a hospital setting.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Two years of supervised clinical experience, including crisis intervention and mental health evaluations.
- Current Alaska LCSW license required at time of submittal.
- Experience preparing treatment plans, crisis counseling, and exceptional clinical documentation.
- Competence with electronic health records and clinical technology.
- Ability to coordinate with state and federal agencies and community resources.
- NABCS clearance required. ICPA clearance required.
- Flu vaccine required prior to start.
- Two fingerprint cards required upon contract acceptance to prevent start delays.
- Preferred: prior experience working in hospital or acute care settings and with outpatient or primary care referrals. (Preferred items are not required.)
