Description
Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while exploring a new location.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Texas OT license required to start the assignment.
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care or hospital setting preferred. (Preferred)
- Experience with inpatient evaluations, plan-of-care development, and discharge planning required.
- Ability to supervise COTA and OT students and provide orientation to new staff.
- Familiarity with safe patient handling procedures and use of adaptive equipment required.
- Proficient documentation skills and experience completing daily progress notes and evaluations per policy required.

- Responsibilities include patient assessment per physician orders, individualized treatment planning, participation in interdisciplinary team and discharge planning, supervision of COTAs and students, and timely documentation.
