Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Colorado Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required. Experience with 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-up treatment sessions preferred.
• Ability to complete clear, concise, accurate, and timely medical record documentation, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessment, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and delegate or direct discipline-specific therapy services as needed.
• Compliance with state practice act, professional licensure in good standing, and completion of state-mandated continuing education.
• Preferred: experience working in outpatient clinic settings that emphasize safe patient handling and materials handling protocols.
