Description
Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while exploring a new location.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Florida Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC required.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care or inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
- Experience with safe patient handling and use of assistive/adaptive equipment required.
- Demonstrated ability to complete evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and document according to facility policy.
- Experience supervising COTAs and OT students preferred.
- Ability to participate in interdisciplinary team processes and discharge planning.
