Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active District of Columbia Physical Therapy license is required to start the assignment.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care preferred.
  • Experience with geriatric patient populations, restorative programs, and functional mobility training preferred.
  • Ability to document in electronic medical records and perform standard PT evaluations and treatment planning.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Shift Details: Monday through Friday, 08:30–16:30.
  • Meal Break: 30 minutes.
  • Assignment Length: 14 weeks (VMS Contract Weeks).
  • Schedule: 5×8 coverage.
