Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Colorado Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Outpatient clinic experience preferred, including evaluations, 60-minute initial evaluations and 30-minute follow-ups.
• Experience with documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with clinic and payer guidelines.
• Ability to develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans and to delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services.
• Demonstrated competency in safe patient handling, materials handling, infection control, and adherence to clinic safety policies.
• Willingness to participate in student supervision and contribute to professional development activities.
• Preferred: familiarity with outpatient productivity expectations and electronic medical records used in outpatient settings.
