Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Current and active Physical Therapy license in the State of Mississippi required.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience providing patient care in home health settings preferred. This includes developing plans of care, family/caregiver education, coordination with PTAs, and participation in multidisciplinary case conferences for recertification and discharge planning.
- Daily travel to patient homes required. Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel within Harrison County, MS.
- Minimum education requirement: Bachelor's Degree.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Home Health.
- Shift Name: Evenings.
- Shift Details: Evenings 2000-0400.
- Work Days: Monday through Friday, 5 days per week.
- Typical responsibilities: in-home patient evaluations, development and implementation of plan of care, communication with physicians, participation in weekly team case conferences for recertification and discharge decisions, and supervision/coordination with PTA and caregivers.
- Travel Requirements: Daily driving to patient homes. Travel within Harrison County, MS. Work will occur at multiple patient locations during a shift.
- Interview Process: Teams preferred.
- Dress Code: Royal blue or black scrubs.
