Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Active Texas PTA license or license in the state required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred. (Preferred)
• Previous travel experience, first-time travelers, and new graduates are acceptable.
• Ability to meet productivity expectations: approximately 60 visits per week and capacity to see 12–14 patients per day with potential double-booking of follow-up visits.
• Willingness to float to other clinics as needed.
• Authorization from clinic director required before working overtime hours.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Outpatient clinic.
• Shift: Days.
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hours guaranteed with an expectation to work up to 40 hours.
• Patient population: Outpatient orthopedics.
• Float requirement: Candidate may be required to float to neighboring clinics.
• Productivity expectations: 60 visits per week; will see 12–14 patients per day; double-booking of follow-up visits expected.
