Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active California Physical Therapist license required prior to start of assignment.
  • BLS certification required from AHA or ARC.
  • Experience working in outpatient clinic settings preferred.
  • Experience with general orthopedics, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including PT techs, OTs, and chiropractors as required by the clinic.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Assignment Length: 13-week assignment with option to extend.
  • Start Date: May start in May. (Start sequence: initial portion at one clinic location followed by remainder at a nearby clinic.)
  • Locations: Two clinic locations in Salinas, CA. Clinician will split coverage between both addresses during the assignment.
  • Staffing Model: Blanco location supports another PT, tech, OT, and chiropractor. Rossi location supports a PT, tech, and chiropractor.
  • Float Requirement: Clinician must be flexible to work between the two nearby clinic sites.

Salinas sits within an agricultural valley near the National Steinbeck Center and is 30–45 minutes from Point Lobos State Natural Reserve and Fort Ord Dunes State Park for hiking and wildlife viewing. The area supports an active outdoor lifestyle with nearby cycling routes, easy access to Highway 1 for coastal drives, and a short commute to downtown Monterey for cultural events and dining.
