Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Texas Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient physical therapy experience preferred, including evaluation, plan of care development, and progression toward discharge.
• Experience with documentation including goal writing, letters of medical necessity, functional quality indicator assessment, and charge entry preferred.
• Ability to supervise and delegate therapy tasks and provide student supervision as needed preferred.
• Maintain professional licensure and complete state-mandated continuing education in accordance with the State Practice Act.
