Description
Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Allentown, PA. You will work with patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Pennsylvania PTA license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
- Experience with common SNF equipment and procedures preferred, including gait training, transfer training, therapeutic exercise, ADL retraining, and use of Hoyer lifts and assistive devices.
- Ability to follow care plans established by a supervising licensed Physical Therapist.
