Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Missouri Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation required. This includes evaluations and treatment experience in hospital or inpatient rehab settings.
• Experience with safe patient handling equipment and standard rehabilitation equipment.
• Familiarity with Meditech or similar electronic documentation systems preferred.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts and occasional floating between acute care and rehab units as needed.
• Must wear facility-required eggplant colored scrubs.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Unit: Physical Therapy supporting both acute care and inpatient rehab (285 acute care beds, 16 inpatient rehab beds).
• Shift name: Days.
• Shift hours: 0700-1500.
• Scheduling: Five 8-hour days, Monday through Friday. One weekend every six weeks with ability to flex days when working the weekend.
• Patient ratio guidance: approximately 12:1.
• Unit support: Rehab tech available; unit secretarial support.
• On-call: Not applicable.
• Floating: May be required to cover both acute and rehab areas.
