Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Colorado physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient rehabilitation experience required, including experience with 60-minute initial evaluations and 30-minute follow-up sessions.
• Experience with documentation of evaluations, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry consistent with payer and clinic requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and discharge-focused goals.
• Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants or students as appropriate.
• Compliance with state practice act and maintenance of professional licensure and required continuing education.
• Preferred: prior experience in a fast-paced outpatient setting and familiarity with safe patient handling procedures.
