Description
We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Whitehall, OH. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills needed for everyday life. Minimum Requirements
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
- Active Ohio COTA license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility is required.
- Client requires availability to work a 4x8 schedule providing 32 hours per week, five days per week availability preferred.
- Experience with common skilled nursing documentation and resident care plans.
- Preferred: experience with restorative nursing programs and durable medical equipment such as adaptive seating, mobility aids, and ADL assistive devices. This is preferred, not required.
