Description
Make a real difference as a travel PTA. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Apply today and a recruiter will follow up with the details.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Florida PTA license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting preferred.
- Experience with restorative programs, transfer training, and use of gait belts and assistive devices preferred.
- Current immunizations and TB screening per facility policy required.
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and follow plan of care.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Schedule: 4x8 (four 8-hour shifts per week).
- Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
- Assignment Length: 13 Week assignment.
