Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Colorado Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required. Candidates must be comfortable evaluating patients with 60-minute initial evaluations and 30-minute follow-up treatment sessions.
• Experience with documentation of evaluations, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, functional quality indicator assessment, and charge entry in accordance with clinic and payer guidelines.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and functional programs focused on community reintegration and discharge planning.
• Ability to supervise and delegate therapy-related tasks and provide education to patients, families, students, and coworkers.
• Maintain professional licensure and comply with state practice act and mandated continuing education requirements.
• Preferred: Prior experience in a fast-paced outpatient clinic and working with student supervision programs.
