Description
Join our travel SLP team as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New York, NY. Provide skilled assessment and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility while gaining experience in a high-need clinical setting. Minimum Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active New York state SLP license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience providing SLP services in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
- Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment, including instrumental assessments (e.g., FEES or MBS) preferred.
- Experience documenting in electronic medical records preferred.
- Weekend SLP availability required.
