Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
• Experience with geriatric populations and post-acute rehabilitation preferred.
• Demonstrated competence with standard SNF equipment and interventions, including therapeutic exercise, balance training, gait training, and use of assistive devices preferred.
• Ability to complete required documentation in electronic medical records systems preferred.
• Client-specific requirement: experience or willingness to work within a PACE program (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) in Pennsylvania is required.
