Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active New York State PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required or may be required depending on client policy.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with restorative care, transfers, gait training, and use of standard durable medical equipment preferred.
• Ability to follow physical therapist treatment plans, document per facility policy, and collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Current immunizations and any facility-required health screening or background checks as required by the client.
