Minimum Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active New York State SLP license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
- Experience with dysphagia assessment and treatment, including instrumental assessment familiarity (FEES or MBSS) preferred.
- Experience documenting in electronic medical records preferred.
