Description
Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant supporting patient recovery in a Skilled Nursing Facility in Waco, TX. You will assist patients recovering from injury or illness with mobility, strength, and functional activities under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Texas PTA license required to start the assignment.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting preferred.
- Experience with therapeutic modalities and restorative nursing programs preferred.
- Ability to work autonomously within a therapy team and follow plan of care set by supervising PT.
- Client requires candidates to meet preferred qualifications for the listed assignment guarantee and expectations. Candidates with less experience may still be considered; this is preferred, not required.

- Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Shift Pattern: 4x8 (four 8-hour shifts per week).
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks.
- Schedule note: 32-hour weekly guarantee.
