Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Alabama PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC required or may be required by facility.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
• Experience with restorative nursing programs and documentation in electronic medical records preferred.
• Ability to perform transfers, ambulation training, therapeutic exercise, mobility device training, and fall risk assessment.
• Must be able to float to other nearby facilities as requested by the client.

• Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Shift days: Monday through Friday with one weekend rotation per month.
• Shift name: Other.
• Float requirement: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
