Description

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist providing home health services in Newton, MA. Provide occupational therapy to patients in their place of residence who have impairments, cognitive and/or physical, resulting from injury, disease, disability, or other causes. Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and allied health professionals to identify needs and coordinate services. Travel within the provider’s geographic area may be required.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • One year of certified home care experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred.
  • Two years of experience in acute care, inpatient rehab, or home health required.
  • Ability to work with clinical computer software and hand-held patient care devices required.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work with diverse populations required.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills required.
  • Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing situations required.

  • Facility Type: Home Health.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Shift Details: Days 08:00–16:30.
  • Start: 13-week assignment beginning late May 2026.
  • Travel required within the home health geographic area; candidate may be expected to travel between client service locations.
