Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Maryland Physical Therapist Assistant license required to start the assignment.
• BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient PTA experience required. No new graduates.
• Experience with common outpatient modalities and equipment including therapeutic exercise, gait training with assistive devices, whirlpools, hot/cold packs, ultrasound, TENS, and paraffin preferred.
• Ability to implement treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist and document patient progress accurately.
• Demonstrated adherence to safety and infection control practices and safe patient handling techniques.
• Willingness to split time between two clinic locations as part of the assignment preferred.

• Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
• Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule.
• Assignment Duration: 13 week assignment.
• Weekly Hours: Approximately 32–36 hours per week.
