Description
Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Apply and a recruiter will follow up with details.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited educational program.
- Active North Carolina PTA license or ability to obtain required state license prior to start.
- Current BLS/CPR certification from AHA or ARC, if required by the facility.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
- Experience with restorative programs, documentation in electronic medical records, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams preferred.
- Ability to follow plan of care established by a licensed Physical Therapist and assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and therapeutic exercise.
