Description
Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant. You will provide home health visits, carry out treatment plans, implement and document patient status under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, and participate in periodic office meetings. Reliable transportation, a current driver’s license, and agency-required liability insurance are required. A recruiter will follow up with details. Thank you for your time and responsiveness.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited educational program.
- Current active PTA license in the state of Texas required to start the assignment.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a licensed PTA in a home health environment preferred. (Client preference)
- Experience performing home visits and managing a home health caseload under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Familiarity with electronic documentation systems, internet, e-mail, user login concepts, and basic desktop navigation for online HR and training systems.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Agency-required liability insurance must be maintained.
- Ability to follow physician orders and implement treatment plans under RPT supervision.
