Description
Join as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist and use clinical skills where they are needed. Provide assessment and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting. A recruiter will reach out with more details.
Minimum Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active Michigan State SLP license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred.
- Experience with dysphagia evaluation and management preferred.
- Ability to perform assessments with common SLP tools and documentation systems preferred.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Shift Details: Days 08:30–16:30, Monday–Friday (5x8).
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks.
- Split-site assignment between facilities in Detroit, MI and Ypsilanti, MI; candidate must be willing to travel between sites as required.
- Meal break: 30 minutes.
