Join as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist and use clinical skills where they are needed. Provide assessment and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting. A recruiter will reach out with more details.

Minimum Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Active Michigan State SLP license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred.
• Experience with dysphagia evaluation and management preferred.
• Ability to perform assessments with common SLP tools and documentation systems preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Details: Days 08:30–16:30, Monday–Friday (5x8).
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks.
• Split-site assignment between facilities in Detroit, MI and Ypsilanti, MI; candidate must be willing to travel between sites as required.
• Meal break: 30 minutes.
